Locations and Cameos
This colourful and lively novel is set in the late 1950s, primarily in Norfolk (England) and Campania (Italy), the stunning city of Naples, the magnificent Castello e Torre di Montesarchio just outside Benevento. The nearby picturesque medieval village of Sant’Agata de ’Goti, with its natural cliffside defence, is perfect for fending witches and goblins.
The story features cameos from Winston Churchill, John, Paul and George when they were in The Quarry Men, an up-and-coming fox comedian Basil Brush and a young Norfolk Entrepreneur, Bernard Matthew. All join in with the fun and frolic for a brief while.

Charles Renard
The patriarch of Foxham and all foxes across Europe. A friendly, kind-hearted, and well-dressed fox who leads via courage, compassion, and fairness. Charles is liked by everyone that is good, from foxes to humans. .

Carlotta
A hip and trendy good witch, with an uncanny resemblance to Marilyn Monroe, with a love for Lambrettas and magic. Bright, brave, breezy, and beautiful. Initially a bad witch, but now fighting the good fight.
Alberto Bandito
A mischievous, lovable, and cheerful fox with no malice in his soul. Son of Mafia boss Mario, Alberto prefers to paint, eating and play football, then do ‘Our thing.’ Life is never dull to Alberto.

Enoch
An evil lord from the underworld. Always dapper, as he tries to think of a sinister plan to take over the world. Ruthless, who despises every fox that walks the earth, avoid him at all costs.
